## 1. Overview

This website is operated by **Aurewood**. Throughout the website, the terms **“Aurewood,” “we,” “us,”** and **“our”** refer to Aurewood.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of **aurewood.com**, including any content, features, products, and services offered through the website. By visiting the website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the policies incorporated into them, including our [Privacy Policy](https://aurewood.com/policies/privacy-policy), [Returns & Refunds Policy](https://aurewood.com/policies/refund-policy), and [Shipping & Delivery Policy](https://aurewood.com/policies/shipping-policy).

If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the website or purchase our products.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer our products and services to you.

## 2. Eligibility and Account Information

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the website.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when creating an account or placing an order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

We may refuse service, suspend an account, or cancel an order if we reasonably believe that information provided is false, that payment is unauthorized, or that the website is being used unlawfully or fraudulently.

## 3. Product Information and Natural Variations

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display each artwork accurately, including its materials, dimensions, finish, color, and appearance. However, screen settings, lighting, photography, and the natural characteristics of wood may cause the delivered artwork to appear slightly different from images shown online.

Wood grain, knots, texture, tone, and hand-finished details naturally vary from piece to piece. These natural variations are part of the character of the artwork and are not considered defects. This does not limit your rights if an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from its product description.

Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, dimensions and weights are approximate. We may update product descriptions, availability, or specifications when reasonably necessary, but changes will not affect an order already accepted without notice to you.

## 4. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. We may review payment, delivery availability, product availability, and order details before accepting the order.

We may decline or cancel an order if the product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorized, delivery is not available to the destination, the listing contains a material pricing or description error, or we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorized resale. If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid to the original payment method.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it. If you need to correct or cancel an order, contact **info@aurewood.com** as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations will be possible after production or dispatch has begun.

## 5. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency selected or shown on the website. The final order total will be shown before you complete payment.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the listed price includes standard worldwide shipping and the import duties, import taxes, and standard customs-clearance charges described in our [Shipping & Delivery Policy](https://aurewood.com/policies/shipping-policy). No separate standard shipping charge will be added to eligible orders.

Optional services requested by the customer, including expedited delivery, indoor placement, unpacking, assembly, or installation, are not included unless Aurewood confirms otherwise in writing.

You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize us and our payment providers to charge the total amount clearly displayed before you submit the order. We may correct an obvious pricing error before accepting an order. If a material pricing error is discovered after payment, we will contact you and offer the choice of confirming the corrected price or receiving a full refund.

Promotions, discounts, and promotional codes may be subject to separate terms, eligibility requirements, and expiration dates. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers cannot be combined.

## 6. Production, Shipping, and Delivery

Many Aurewood artworks are made to order. Production estimates and delivery estimates are provided on the product page, in the order confirmation, or in our [Shipping & Delivery Policy](https://aurewood.com/policies/shipping-policy). Transit time begins after production is complete and the order has been dispatched.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Carrier disruption, customs processing, weather, port congestion, remote-area delivery conditions, and other events outside our reasonable control may cause delays. We will remain your point of contact and provide available updates when a material delay occurs.

Every shipment is insured for the artwork's purchase value while in transit and until delivery is confirmed. Aurewood remains responsible for covered loss or transit damage until delivery. Transit insurance does not cover damage caused after delivery by improper handling, installation, alteration, misuse, or disposal of packaging before a claim can be reviewed.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, email address, and reachable telephone number at checkout. Address changes may not be possible after dispatch. Large-piece delivery may be limited to curbside, a building entrance, or an exterior doorway unless Aurewood confirms additional services in writing.

If a carrier or customs authority unexpectedly requests payment of an import duty, import tax, or standard customs-clearance charge covered by our Shipping & Delivery Policy, contact **info@aurewood.com** before paying so that we can review and arrange payment or approved reimbursement.

## 7. Returns and Refunds

You may request a return within 30 days after receiving your item, subject to the eligibility requirements and exclusions in our [Returns & Refunds Policy](https://aurewood.com/policies/refund-policy).

To request a return, email **info@aurewood.com** before sending the artwork back. If the return is accepted, Aurewood will provide a prepaid return shipping label, the correct return address, and packing and shipping instructions. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Returned artwork must be unused, uninstalled, unaltered, and undamaged after delivery, with its original protective packaging and included components or documentation. Custom-made or clearly personalized artwork, items damaged after delivery, gift cards, and items expressly marked as final sale may not be returnable, except where an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect or where applicable law requires otherwise.

After an accepted return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.

## 8. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Lost Orders

Please inspect the artwork and its packaging promptly after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, or if a shipment appears to be lost, contact **info@aurewood.com** as soon as possible and include your order number and clear photographs of the artwork, outer carton or crate, internal protective materials, and shipping label.

Please retain the artwork and all packaging until we complete our review and provide instructions. After verifying the issue, Aurewood will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, return, or refund.

## 9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content, including text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, product presentation, and website design, are owned by or licensed to Aurewood and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, scrape, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission from Aurewood or the applicable rights holder.

Names, artworks, images, or other materials belonging to artists, collaborators, licensors, Shopify, payment providers, or other third parties remain the property of their respective rights holders.

## 10. Reviews, Feedback, and Submitted Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content to Aurewood, you confirm that the submission is accurate, that you own it or have permission to provide it, and that it does not violate another person's rights.

You grant Aurewood a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and share the submitted content for operating, improving, and promoting Aurewood, subject to applicable privacy and consumer-protection laws. This license does not transfer ownership of your content to Aurewood.

If a review or other submission was provided in connection with an incentive, discount, complimentary product, or other benefit, that relationship must be disclosed. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or unrelated to the relevant product or service.

## 11. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website or its content:

- For an unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
- To violate applicable laws or another person's rights
- To submit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or infringing content
- To distribute malware, interfere with website security, or disrupt website operation
- To collect personal information without authorization
- To impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- To make unauthorized commercial use of the website or its content

Aurewood is powered by Shopify. Purchases made through our store are transactions between you and Aurewood. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform but is not the seller of the artwork.

Shopify and other service providers may process information as necessary to operate the store, process payments, prevent fraud, and provide customer service.

## 14. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate, secure, and available. However, the website may occasionally be interrupted or contain errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its services are provided on an “as available” basis. This disclaimer does not limit any express promise in a product description, our Shipping & Delivery Policy, our Returns & Refunds Policy, or any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

## 15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aurewood will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or purchase of a product when those losses were not reasonably foreseeable.

Where liability may legally be limited, Aurewood's total liability arising from an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

## 16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Aurewood harmless from third-party claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising directly from your unlawful use of the website, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

## 17. Events Outside Our Control

Aurewood will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, labor disruption, carrier interruption, customs delay, port congestion, government action, public-health emergency, power failure, or telecommunications disruption.

This section does not remove Aurewood's responsibility for an insured shipment or require you to pay charges that Aurewood has agreed to cover under the Shipping & Delivery Policy.

## 18. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

## 19. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the policies incorporated into them constitute the agreement between you and Aurewood regarding your use of the website and purchase of products. If a product page, written order confirmation, or expressly applicable policy provides a more specific term for an order, the more specific term will apply to that order.

## 20. Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Aurewood may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or transfer of the business, provided that doing so does not reduce your non-waivable rights.

## 21. Governing Law and Disputes

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction serving Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring the dispute in another court or forum. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
